Waterproofing Material

SRT FIX LIQUID MEMBRANE is a water-based, single-component, elastic, brush-on waterproofing material that provides excellent adhesion to the applied surface. It does not blister or peel. It has maximum breathability. Therefore, it ensures that the walls remain constantly dry by releasing the moisture within the structure. It is highly resistant to all weather conditions, sunlight, alkaline surface structures, and temperature variations.

SURFACE PREPARATION
The surfaces to which SRT FIX LIQUID MEMBRANE will be applied must be dry, clean, sound, and free of dust. Any blistered and/or loose areas on the surface must be scraped and the surface prepared accordingly. Oil, soot, rust, and dirty areas on the surface must be cleaned with appropriate materials before application. Gaps or holes in the application areas must be repaired with repair mortar. A slope must be provided in the correct area to ensure water drainage in the application areas.

DILUTION RATIO
The primer coat should be diluted with water by 100% by volume (approximately 15 liters of water for a 20 kg package). No dilution should be done for the intermediate and final coats. Only clean water must be used.
APPLICATION METHOD
For application, the primer coat should be applied by diluting SRT FIX LIQUID MEMBRANE by 100% and waiting a minimum of 6 hours. For waterproofing, after priming, SRT FIX LIQUID MEMBRANE should be applied in 2 coats without dilution, waiting 24 hours between coats. The 2nd coat should be applied in the opposite direction of the first coat. Dry air is essential during application. During application, the surface and ambient temperature should be between +5°C and +30°C. Application can be done in 2 coats using a brush, roller, or spray method. If the applied surface will be walked on, a protective coating such as screed or ceramic tiles must be applied. Tools used can be cleaned with water. DRYING TIME*
Primer drying time is 6 hours, intermediate drying time is 24 hours, and full drying time is 48 hours. The application must be protected from freezing conditions during the full drying time. NUMBER OF APPLICATION COATS
