DESCRIPTION:

SRT FIX CERAMIC PRIMER is a water-based, styrene acrylic copolymer emulsion-based, red-colored decorative primer for ceramic-on-ceramic bonding. It contains special fillers that provide surface filling and roughening properties, and offers high water resistance.

FEATURES:

SRT FIX CERAMIC PRIMER is water-based. It adheres perfectly to the applied surface. It does not blister or peel. It allows for the application of ceramics and tiles over existing ceramics and tiles, enabling subsequent ceramic and tile application. Its high water resistance ensures excellent adhesion of the ceramics and tiles to the surface.

APPLICATION AREAS:

SRT FIX CERAMIC PRIMER can be safely used on ceramic and tile surfaces in all types of interior spaces, both horizontally and vertically.

APPLICATION METHOD:

The surfaces to which SRT FIX CERAMIC PRIMER will be applied must be dry, clean, sound, and free of dust. Any blistered and/or loose areas on the surface must be scraped and the surface prepared accordingly. Oil, soot, rust, and mold release agents on the surface must be cleaned with appropriate materials before application. The surface must be completely dry before priming. During application, the surface and ambient temperature should be between +5°C and +30°C.

The application can be done in a single coat using a sheepskin roller and/or a long-yarn roller. The surface is ready for use at least 24 hours after the priming process is complete. Tools used can be cleaned with water.

THINNING:

It should be thinned with water by 10% by volume (approximately 0.25 liters of water for a 3 kg package). Only clean water must be used.

DRYING TIME:

(At 20°C and 65% relative humidity) Touch dry time is 1 hour, full drying time is 24 hours. The application must be protected from freezing conditions during the full drying time.

CONSUMPTION:

Depending on the type, absorbency, and ambient conditions of the surface being coated, 1 kilogram can prime 3-5 m² in a single coat.

STORAGE CONDITIONS:

Unopened packages can be stored for 1 year in areas protected from direct sunlight, at ambient temperatures between +5 °C and +30 °C.

The storage area must be absolutely protected from frost. Opened and undiluted products can be stored with the lids tightly closed.
